Egg n Bhuja Fritter

Since I have become a vegetarian, I sometimes have this craving for the taste of the food I once loved to eat.
One that came to mind the other day was ‘white bait fritters’ (don’t know why!I cant really say I loved white bait but I suppose it was the noodles in the bhuja mix!!that made me think of it.)
So I set myself in the kitchen and came up with two awesome scrumptious recipe.
Totally! Divine!

Gluten free option

1 egg
pinch of salt
pinch of chilli flakes (optional)
approx 25g kadods Bhuja Mix – gluten free
1 tsp butter

Whisk an egg in a bowl and add the above ingredients, including the bhuja mix. Mix and make into fritters, remember to keep folding the egg batter in the pan to keep shape. The peas become the heads n the noodles become the tails…
It tastes somewhat like white bait fritters but with no real heads/tails, infect way better.

Serve with chutney of our choice, serve plain.

Egg free Option

½ cup self raising flour
pinch of salt
pinch of chilli flakes
1tsp melted butter
50g kadods Bhuja Mix

Mix all of the above ingredients and make into small fritters.
Serve with any tart chutney or sour cream.
